Appreciating what you have. Mark McIlroy 31.03.2026 Everyone wants somthing that they don't have. That's just human nature. However if you spend too much time thinking about the things that you want, that you don't have, life becomes a perpetual misery. Sometimes it's helpful to reset and appreciate the things that you do have. Do you have a house to live in? Do you have food to eat each day? Do you have a good relationship? Not everyone has these things. But for those that do, or for those that have their own list of good things, thinking about these things can reset life. I will add one exception to this. If someone is actively harming you on a daily basis, whether it be a co-worker or domestic relationship, you need to find a way out of that situation. 2. Think back 10 years. Have any of the things that you were hoping for 10 years ago come true? If so that's something.
